Mobile Napster
A Budapest company has started a wi-fi Napster for Pocket PC's.
Just thought how easy it would be to set one up via Bluetooth to share MP3's on you memory card.
A small app that can search and display track lists from nearby phones, the possibilities are endless as they say.
Holy crap the RIAA are buggered.

WI-FI is a LOT faster and has a LOT bigger range the Bluetooth.A filesharing application via Bluetooth doesn't make sense, maybe via GPRS.

Bluetooth is well fast enough for a few mp3's
Say your in a restaraunt, do a quick bluetooth search, find a phone with the sharing app and start downloading, just like Kazza you could set up the folder to share.
Of course you may walk out of range halfway though, but it will work fine in places where everyone stays put for a while..trains, buses , movie theatres..etc.
You could share, ringtones, videos, with MMC cards getting bigger all the time, people could have loads of stuff to share on their phones.
Of course cracked apps will appear..but that's life.

Wirelessly posted (Nokia N-Gage: Nokia6600/1.0 (3.42.1) SymbianOS/7.0s Series60/2.0 Profile/MIDP-2.0 Configuration/CLDC-1.0)
A file sharing application has plenty of potential, but if you limit file-sharing to bluetooth connections, you'll severely limit the application's practicality... By offering a variety of ways to connect and share files (eg. Via GPRS, EDGE and Wi-Fi connections, etc...), you'll open up more possibilities and the application will appeal to a wider range of people. Furthermore, with the technical ability and data transmission speeds of newer 3G phones, there is no reason NOT to create such an application!
