Saving Sound recorder files
Dear All,
This might be very silly ,but I find it impossible to save the recordings I make with the sound recorder in the p900. The recordings are not found under any of the folders in the phone memory or the memory stick. How do I tranfer them to the PC then ?
Thanks

Instead of looking everywhere after the files you can just send it by PCmail, E-mail, Bluetooth or whatever to your pc and open it up. After recording just Send as and make your choice.

Yes , I could send it by PCMail but there is a 100kb limit. Is there any other way (I don't have bluetooth or infrared on my PC)
Thanks

Yes HandyGuy are right, they are all stored there. The 100kb limit on mail is maybe for mms but for email you can take away the limit in Controlpanel.

No we are not talking about C: at your pc but you can find it in C: at your P900. Then you can just forward them wherever you want to your pc.

The question was, how to find recordings made by the sound recorder on the p900 on the device or into the PC? One suggestion was to email to the computer, and another was to look in the documents folder on the device under the subfolder voice. I tried looking with the file manager and did not find any such subfolder on the device. So I am stuck there.

Maybe another option. pjmani, you're not using the regular (built-in) file manager, are you? Cause than you can't find them. You need a file manager that gives you access to all the folders.
If this is not the solution, I ran out of options as well :?

I know what the question was, as I gave the answer for it.... it's just that you asked for one thing and want an answer for another

so you'll have to find them in your phone first, then find a way to transfer to your PC.
what "Delta737" said was the most reasonable on why you coudn't find that folder, so try his solution!
and here's the link for it: http://www.handango.com/brainstore//...d=0&catalog=20

finding sound files
Thanks Delta 737 and Handyguy,
I copied the file manager from the site and it worked perfectly. I found the sound files under c:documents. It is wrong that we need to buy this separately i have already spent $ 90 after getting this P900. Why doesn't SE do something about it?

You don't have to buy a file manager. There is a very good freeware file manager!!

You might go looking for repair pst and email repair. I have been using it without problem since it came out.
