3660 hard reset!

I know there is a hard reset on the 6600 by holding down green call button, * and 3 then pressing the on button, and apparantly holding down the pen button on the 3650 boots it in a "safe mode".
I've got that problem where the phone won't boot up at all and just flashes the nokia logo 4 times and then switches off so using the symbian reset code wont work (*#7370#)

I've not come accross any info on the 3660 as its a bit newer, has practically same software as 3650 but not quite so firmware might be different to reset?

Any ideas?

Cheers

Yeh thats prob the best thing to do, though do you know how they would fix it? as i keep some of my pin codes... for cred cards on my phone, will they just overwrite it all or will they be able to see my messages and other files?

Try to disconnect the internal battery (if there is one).

Can you give me some more information about the Hard Reset for the 3650?
I've tried the pen button as you said but it doesn't work for me.
I've got the same problem; My phone just displaying the nokia logo 4 times and then powers off.

I tried leaving the battery out for a few days but that doesn't seem to help and i can't find an internal battery...
For the 3650 you just hold down the pen key and switch on the phone while still holding down the key.
I have found this fault is quite common and ends up meaning you have to get it reflashed.
If its not in the guarantee it cost 15 GBP at a nokia service centre which is what i'm gonna do.

Any further info from ne1 pls keep posting!

I have same exact problem with my 3650.
when i power on, it shows Nokia Logo 4 times and then powers off.

Someone has find solution to this? I read someone say to update firmware. it's the right solution?

At nokia service point they say they have to send the phone out for electronic repairs (€ 80,00) but i smell they are joking.
