When I got my Orange 6600 I used the backup facility on Pc Suite to back my phone up. OK so far......
I recently had to get a replacement handset and memory card. Today I went back to PC Suite thinking I would be able to press the restore button and I would have my old data back.
But, PC suite seems to class my new phone as a new thing altogether, telling me that is has never been backed up. My old phone is still there but just says disconnected and won't let me get to it!!!!
How do I switch to this one so I can restore my data!!!

Back up the new phone, find the folder on your PC where the new phone's backup is and copy everything from the old phone's backup into there. Then when you restore the new phone it should copy over all the old phone's files...
Or you could just open pc suite and connect your new phone and choose in the backup/restore menu the data from your old phone that you want to restore to the new one, by changing the source device.
