problem in running application on device

I wanted to write a background applications ... which keeps checking the device time ... and if its equal to the time we set ... this application should suppaosed to invoke the browser....... This application is running on the emulator ,as browser gets envoked automatically after the display of application menu .But on the device (nokia 6600) it doesnt run.Nothing is happening on the device..

Someone might be able to help, but you really have to tell more (a lot more) about what your problem is, exactly. What is it that you want to happen? What, exactly, you have tried and what, exactly happens?
