Mac OsX iSync and P900 (Birthday sync)

Any one else have this problem?

When i sync my p900 and the mac the birthdays dont sync.

I have added lots of birthday to the contacts using smartdates.
When i tried it on a windows pc the birthdays sync 100%.

But when i sync it on my mac, non of the birthdays show up in my address book?

Any ideas?

Is it possible to synch the birthdays with iCal ?

Yip if i use smartdates to create the entries in the calander on the p900 it syncs with iCal no problem. But would like them in the address books as well.

No, there's no way to do that with iSync. A third-party conduit for iSync would be needed for something like that, and AFAIK there is no public API for that yet.

I've used iCal Birthday Shifter (http://www.scotlandsoftware.com/products/icalshifter/) to take the birthdate entries from Panther's Address Book and make them iCal events, myself.

I use birthday reminder does the same thing.
But birthday shift looks nicer i must say.

The only thing is my address book has no birthdays now. Since they dont since from the p900.

Oh well maybe the next version of isync will do it.
Guess i should try email sonyericsson and apple.
