At Celluloco for 899,- It says they have 30 Items in stock. Thats Murphys Law, I decide not to have one anymore and they start shipping it.

We are waiting for the 'news'..........

What exactly do you mean by NO items in stock. I was at the celluloco page on the 22nd and they had the 30 items listed at that time. 5 hours later, the stock of 30 was gone. When I locked in today, they had 30 items in stock again. I tried to order one and it actually works. I canceled it before the last step as I will not pay 899$ for a Sendo. But nevertheless it worked. I can't state if celluloca has the phone really in stock because I didn't order and receive one. But neither can you, if you are not the distribution manger of Sendo, and even then you couldn't be to sure. I purchased quite a few items from different companys like Sony or Siemens even before they were shipped officialy to the distributers. And it weren't always beta types. In one case the main responsible manager was complete unaware that the product was hitting the market unofficially. She wouldn't lie to me. Blood is thicker then water. If you know what I mean. There are always ways to get things earlier, depending on the price you are willing to pay and your connections. The unofficial ones. ;-) So let's not argue if celluloco is having them or not. As we both can't prove the opposite. All guys are waiting for the news you promised. I hope you have some today.

I phoned them up. And a representative told me they have the phone in stock. Who is going to prove whats right or wrong.

Well, their website currently says 'pre release' orders only.
I have been on their pre release waiting list since the phone was first announced a couple of months back - and they have never contacted me to say the phone was availible.......

Lets hope they have them in stock awaiting the official 'ok' from sendo to release them

Hello,

the X will be shipped beginning at the 15.05.2004 to spain & italy. At the moment all major mobile newspapers are "equipped" with a final hard- and software version. The X is expected to be released here in germany shortly after, which means 'til 31.05.2004

I've been away from this forum for months and I have to chuckle to myself that you guys are still rattling on about the release date of the Sendo X - you were discussing that in January!

The X is old hat now. Go and buy a Moto MPX100. I bet that will be out sooner and it's a far superior product.

i would take the bet. the mpx100 will come out LATER then the SendoX. simple as that... sendo is going to ship the phones in may, Moto is going to ship the mpx100 in the second half of 2004. and i would bet that this is not june/july for sure... (but i lost so many bets, who really cares...)

But the Sendo is now an 'old' phone compared to what's due to be released, the MPx100 isn't. And it doesn't matter if it is shipped before the MPx, if indeed it is, it's still LATE!!!

Sendo waved goodbye to the boat about 4 months ago IMHO.
