Hi! Since we have a proxy server in the office that we use to connect to the internet, I decided to setup a NT Remote Access Server (RAS) hoping that i can easily connect to the internet if i dial our RAS using a N9210, but to no avail. Everytime i tried to connect (dial-up the RAS) i get, "connection time out", the n9210 seems not to reach the email server which is outside the local network where i setup the RAS.
Please help, i've been doing this for almost two weeks and i can't get this thing to run. I tried to connect to the internet by dialing the RAS using a computer and it works fine. I tried to search nokia forums and all i can see is how to configure a connection between 9210 and RAS using a null modem connection and emulator. Connect the 9210 using a null modem (com port) then try to connect to the internet, in which, IMHO, what's the use of the N9210 if im just going to connect it to the RAS using a null modem cable everytime I need check my email, do they mean i have to bring our server everywhere i go to check my email using n9210 ??? that's absurd.
