MMC storage?

Helo guy,
I want to put image and wav or any midi file into the mmc itself but when i successful upload it to the mmc the phone cant seem to find it like the wav file. Need to place it in the phone memory then u will recognise and i can find it in the profile section whereas if i place it in the mmc...cannot be done cant seem to find the file at all.

am i doing something wrong? or like there is a way to make the phone seek either in the phone memory or the mmc memory. Anyway my phone memory running short on space so like is it possible to place the entire data like contact and calender and other stuff that is running on the 3660 and place it on the mmc??

By the way, ghost(u know who u r) thank for the previous advise.
It work like a charm. Thanks a million

Works fine from MMC. Where on the MMC did you put them?

If you have WAVs in C:\Nokia\Sounds\Digital when in phone memory, put them in E:\Nokia\Sounds\Digital on the MMC.

If you have images in C:\Nokia\Images, ....

Note also that in the Images app, there are two views; one that shows what's in phone memory and another that shows whats on the MMC (if inserted).

And with FExplorer (http://www.gosymbian.com) you can open images no matter where in the file system they are.

You can also in Messaging switch the inbox et al to memory card (search for the "Memory in use" setting (or look it up in the User's Guide).

Contacts have to be in phone memory (can't be changed).
