dabotsonline,
i had a quick look at the mpx and thought it was quite nice. but one of the mobile review sites slammed it. and it has less spec than the X ! so its off my list now. unless they bring out the mpx300, with win2003 and itap6.0 !

what i dont understand is.. what makes the X so great anymore?
in my opinion, the only thing that sets the X apart is the foldable keyboard as an accessory and FM radio
what phones do you guys think should be just as good, or if not, better than the X?

it depends what you are after i suppose. for me the X is still the best i reckon. i thnk the NOW! screen will be great. i love shortcuts!
and it sounds as though the organiser is pretty decent from what they tell me. better than the 6600? or so it seems. plus it has boosted sound.

trying to find a symbian phone which contains:
- a normal keyboard layout (numbers 0 to 9 in a normal way)
- stereo
- MMC / SD support (+512mb support)
- camera with flash, even if it's just a bright led
- good graphic processing possibilities (but still I do not know what the results of this really in the sendo)
- no folding out phones (Motorola, some Ericsson...etc... but this is personal)
- USB connectivity
...and the phone has to have some good looks to, the sendo has lot to offer on this except a proper release...

I've seen some mention here of the Sendo X having an FM radio; well just to disabuse you of a misconception, it does not have an FM radio.
But it does have everything else you need.
A few more short weeks and the waiting should be over.

Do you know something we don't then? Excuse me for being cinical but the lack of info coming out of Sendo hasn't really inspired confidence in them as far as I'm concerned. Can you shed more light?
I'm prepared to wait until mid April (renewal time!) but after that it'll be a P900 and not an X that I'll buy..... In fact, having spent some time with a mates P900 it might have to be one of those anyway

The word
Yes, you could say I have 'inside' knowledge
The phone will ship by the end of this month to Spain first, don't ask why
Having played with the device over the last few weeks I can only say that it blows most everything else away.
Look for it by the end of the month, perhaps earlier!

I'll believe it when I see it
Thanks for the info, though without any 'official' confirmation I await to be impressed or dissuaded from what I said earlier....

Sorry Sendo - another sale lost!

here's what sendo are saying:
"- We are now manufacturing and I expect that we ship in the next couple of weeks.
- SIM free without subsidy for approx. 500 Euros.
- We will start in the UK, Italy, Spain and France. The US is planned for the 2nd quarter of this year.
- We have made some minor changes to the plastics."
about time!

Good news! I was about to suggest that we all go down to Sendo's Brum HQ and demand that the phone be released now!
