How long you willing to wait?
Just wondering how long ppl are prepared to hang around for this phone before starting to look at other options? could well be the same delay as for the sx1. also, im sure the 6230 will scoop up some of sendo's potential customers if released prior to sendo x.

Forever practicaly!
I have bought the n-gage as a temp adn it suits me fine. I do most of my program testing on the n-gage so when i get sendo-x i have some ready made programs for it.

Like all fickle customers, I'll wait until something better beats it to the market. Getting a bit fed up of all the non commital "we expect to ship sometime next month" statements tho

If the Sendo X is a reliable, quality product, it will instantly become the premier Series 60 mobile. I'll give Sendo until the end of the year to sell it through T-Mobile USA.

Arhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh
I can not wait much longer.
Expansys has the SX1 and it's looking very attractive now..
A friend at T-Mobile say it has not even been given a date for release by T-Mobile and their current release schedule goes up to April....
Pleeeeeese some one tell me the wait is nearly over..

I'm getting itchy feet at the moment, my 7650 is dying a slow death, the 4 key is tempermental, the power button has a life of it's own and lack of memory is getting me down
At least it still runs Bemused
Nearly bought a 6600 the other day, but there is lack of Orange stock at the moment
Will probably give them until the end of Feb for something firm otherwise I'm outta the Sendo X race

My 7650 is dying slowly too - tempramental keys, occasionally puts itself into headset mode (with no headset plugged in), memory nearly gone...
It's really no wonder Nokia are the market leaders, they've released a 3 or 4 gen 1 s60 phones and a gen 2 s60 phone, when the other manufacturers have yet to release their first s60 to the world at large.
I'm really losing faith in the sx1 - siemens went on and on about making it 'bug free' before release, and as soon as it's released it has some quite major bugs. bah.
Sendo X - will it ever arrive? If it does will it ever get to my corner of the world?
I think the 7700 will be here by then, probably the new communicator too!
A friend has the new motorolla flip phone, screens is very similar to the sharp gx20/30 (i haven't seen a real 6600 yet so can't compare) - it has a vga camera and bluetooth and java games... soooo tempting...

OK I can cope a bit longer now, just ordered a N-Gage from CPW for £99.99 inc shipping, then another £20 off when I send them an old phone back!
and just to avoid taco syndrome, I'm off to order a Jabra BT250

This is crap. Does nobody at Sendo read this board? Do they not realise that by giving high hopes then not backing it up that potential customers (that could 'spread the word') are getting pissed off. Surely someone knows when or if the bloody phone will be released??? I know they are having production problems, I work in electronics and know all too well how difficult it is to introduce a new product, but why give a high profile release then go silent? There must be some clever people employed by Sendo, how come all their muppets seem to work in the marketing and NPI departments???
I don't think we're a stupid bunch (lol) so why can't someone from Sendo give us something other than a bullshit answer?

What is up with the power button on the 7650 ... mine doesn't work for poo ... I have to take th battery out to turn it off, and if I do that, I takes me 30 mins to turn it back on ... pushing the button 100 different ways (and let me tell you, pushing a button 100 different ways isn't easy) ... hands free has NEVER worked well on it ... but, other than that...
The 7650 rocks! ;-) But, getting memory blues, too (well, I have a PDA for more power, but still....) ... The 7700 looks cool, but it's a stylus phone, so it won't be SMS/MMS friendly (typing on a virtual keyboard isn't easy, I know, as I owned a Motorola Accompli 008) ... the new Communitor looks to rock the house ... my friend works for Nokia and has seen it and said it looks cool, but he is forbidden to talk too much about it (or show me pics, etc...) ... but, it should be cool. 6600 is a good phone, but buggy as hell.

I’m really getting fed up of waiting... i've read some mails (from sendo) in other forums regarding the sendo x...
It all comes down to the same shite ... they are don't know exactly and it all depends on the providers...
I’m seriously thinking of getting an SX1, because:
- stereo playback
- usb connectivity
- 512 mb MMC support
- MMC not located beneath battery but on the side
i really wanted the sendo X
- special graphics acceleration (makes the phone faster?)
- flash
- better camera (?)
- 1 GB MMC / SD support
this is really shite ...
excuse me for my language ... I’ve been watching to much jamie oliver on tv here in Holland...
