Remeber the phones memory is dynamically allocated, so such things as text messages and other system variables will change the available memory the phone has. Start panicing when you have no memory left

Sami is right, the Log file file can take a lot of space without you noticing it. Go to the "Log" menu, "settings" and choose the log duration between 1, 10 or 30 days.

My current phone memory is 900Kb and has been below that and I've had no problem at all.

Thumbs up

hey

ronqwobfwuo @ thats what i'm trying to do keep the memory above 5.5MB but somehow it disapears i do a reset and i have about 5.6MB - 5.7MB and then i install just fexplorer one the mmc
also i keep the log to one day minimum it clears after that
and i notice that memory still disapers
i did a test i format the fone on friday at 12 noon i have 5.763MB and by sunday night 12 am i have 5.479MB i have nothing installed everything uses memory card

so i thought it creates a log somewhere on the fone like for all the calls made..and network coverage i really have no-idea
but i notice that even when i install and uninstall progs i lose like 1kb on each application and on some i loose more

anyway your opinion would be apreciated
just take a few days and try and notice this

thanx

krassen, some memory is used by the OS.Get over it,its just a few KB's.On forum nokia, under the memory specs for the 7650 it is stated that it has 4MB of storage free but its more arround 3.6 MB.I guess its the same for the 6600.
