Teletext for Nokia7650
Jamsoft has released PocketTextTV 1.1 - mobile teletext viewer for Nokia 7650-smartphone.
PocketTextTV is a mobile teletext viewer. It keeps you in touch with your favourite daily information; headline news , finance, weather-information, TV-programs, Sports-information, etc. Anything and everything you can find on your usual teletext-channel on TV.
Current version includes teletext-channels from Finland, Sweden, Danmark, Italy, Germany, Belgium, Singapore, Czech, Slovakia and Armenia.
Thanks to Rafe (who's having a well deserved break) for this news!

Great another Teletext for the 7650. Any chance of a 9210 version? Anyone?

If it had Ceefax and/or ITV Teletext, I'd seriously consider this.
How does it work? Does it find its own way around the web sites of these companies, or does it take transmissions from the broadcasts and shove them down the internet?
Hmmmmmm, the UI is very nice though. Very nice indeed.

Check the usual; that you're not using a WAP only access point and so on.
Remember that the demo is limited to even pages only and no sub pages.

Thanks
The data is received directly from appropriate website as image. Then processed and offered to view in many different zoom-modes, rotation, color-depths, fullscreen,etc...

I believe that there's a problem in your network setup. As instructed check obvious:
1) You have defined internet access point (IAP) for GPRS or DATA-connection
2) You have defined DNS-addresses in advanced-page
3) You have set the default gateway 0.0.0.0
This info can also be found from our webpage www.vtoy.fi/~malo/texttv.html
