how to convert 3gp video Files in mpg?

How can I turn the format of the videos taken with the p900 into something I can share with oter people (mpg, avi, etc.)? Thanks for your reply.

you can use quicktime, download the 3gp plug in from their website, then open up the video file with quicktime, and select export to, then you can choose numerous things like uncompressed avi, or whatever you want

Thanks. Can I do it with with a free version or do I have to purchase the full version? I'd rather go with something free, of course... Since I do not really need it for anything else than the conversion of the p900 files. Would Pinnacle Studio do it too? I have access to that.

yes, the free one does it, there are lots of pinnacle studios, i don't know if they have suport for 3gp though as they're mainly for tv and vcd conversions , (mpeg2 etc)

use radtools to convert 3 gp to avi or mpg or real or mov
