system-?
Hello there.
I'm so curious about your Patch - but I'd first like to know a bit more, before i install it:
1) Does it run on OSX 10.2.8 - or do I need OSX 10.3...?
2) Does your Patch allow isync to sync ical and addresses?
if so, I would be so relieved!!
Greetings from Berlin, Till.

Hi Bill - it allows sync with ical and adress. I use 10.3.2 - but it will work with 10.8 also.

ok - I tried.
First it seemed ok:: I succeeded adding the 6600 to isync, the phone was then asked for a connection, I clicked OK, then I tried to sync - but no reaction. Only this rather short error message::
Synchronization failed!

I'm on 10.2.8 with bluetooth 1.3.3
best regards, Till.

ps:: the other reaction
the other thing that happened was that after pressing -sync- the phone was asked to accept a connection (wow!), i clicked OK, but then this rather well known error message::

Can't synchronize contacts to NU.tille: device is not available
Can't synchronize calendars and To Do items to NU.tille: device is not available

Hi Till and Wadat,
I noticed that you both might have the same problem as I had before. Please refer to this thread, it might help you solve your problem:
All About Symbian Forums > Symbian Based Devices > Series 60 > Nokia 6600 > Problem Apple iSync with 6600 solved
Check out page 2. I got mine fixed from Husby's suggestion.
Good Luck.

Did you try the suggestion given on the other post? I think it's your conduit set up that's not properly configured. Just go to: System/Library/SyncServices/SymbianConduit.bundle/Contents/Resources/
then manually replace the conduit setting. You'll find the steps on page one of the previous post (All About Symbian Forums > Symbian Based Devices > Series 60 > Nokia 6600 > Problem Apple iSync with 6600 solved).
Hope this helps. Good Luck.

really thanx for your help but my problem remains...i wonder if dont need a new clean SymbianConduit.bundle any idea where?
also when one repairs permissons with disk utility does one need to do it from the osX install cd? that's how i did it but it actually didn't do much: the permissions i changed remain...???
thank you for helping

That's the culprit. You have to do it straight from your running system. Just go to your Application/Utilities/Disk Utility and do it from there.

well, i just did that and it doesn't find any permission problems...which i don't believe is true
anyway i tried to sync after that and still nothing but this message about symbian conduits not being installed properly...
don't know what to do anymore.
