I have setup my 02 gprs setting and they work fine even in Opera. But when I go to agile messenger it does not connect. It says please check your gprs settings and try again. why?

So how do I get it to work? There doesn't seem to be any options to disable connecting. Any ideas?

Call to AGILE

it's an AGILE company servers problem..

so you can't do anything about it...

We hope that Agile fix the servers problems for that

Any Agile support people on here who can tell us if this problem will be corrected? I used to love Agile but now that it doesn't connect to Yahoo IM anymore I'll have to look for an alternative :(

Yeah you have to use settings which will allow you to connect outside of the Network, ring O2 and ask them for these its the same as if you are connecting to pick up emails and stuff

I have it working perfectly with O2. You cant use the GPRS settings thats for sending MMS.
You should use the O2 Mobile Internet GPRS settings. Think you can get them off their web site.

Connects to agiles servers everytime.

Hope this helps,

Mike

Hmm, I'm afraid that's not the problem for me. I'm using the same Internet GPRS settings as I always used, with Vodafone Ireland, and I'm still not able to chat with other Yahoo! IM users.

Anyone else on Vodafone Ireland?

HI!...

Again... the problem for me is not the IAP ...

my IAP it's ok.. work with Opera, Wap, Email, anything..

Only the Agile Messenger don't connect to the Master server..

May be that server has filtered some IP locations arround the world... i don't know...

Anyway i am using TipicME (freeware too) ... and it's just cool... and only 100kb installed not 300kb like AgileM...

TipicME Woks fine.. (www.tipic.com)

cya!

Thanks Yakkob but unfortunately I think my issue is the same as for AEFOX - my IAP is fine for all other uses but just not Agile Messenger.

So it's time to try out TipicMe
