Good games for the 7650

Right has anyone managed to get hold of any games WORTH playing for the 7650, I realise that's it's a new phone, but there's gotta be something more entertaining than tetris and bounce out there.

The best game i've found is Racing Fever Deluxe, bit hard though.

I know someone is releasing Doom 7650, but I don't know when, but I can't wait.

Compared to the 9XXX, we only have a really small choice. :(

I know they're not graphically great, but I recently started playing the Spruce games (wap: http://wap.spruce.jp, web http://www.spruce.jp/freemidlets/)

Bowling is quite cute, and the Checkers (Draughts) one is OK.

They're free too!

I've got quite a few from Spruce, there adictive, but nothing special.

I don't know why I'm complaining, its a phone! If I want to play games I should by a Gameboy. lol.

Try ZeroIndex or, more specifically, their games download page.

Bingo!

Choose the right tools for the job. Okay there are some benefits to amalgamating your device, but I'm much happier carrying a MiniDisc Player (Sony), a Gameboy Advance (Nintendo), the 9210 Communicatior (Nokia) and the Psion NetBook (Teklogix).

I doubt that in the next 18 months there'll be one device that can do all of the above more than just satisfactory. Yes I know that X device can do Y as well, but if I want a decent version of Streetfighter on the move then it's got to be the Gameboy Advance (or the now defunct Neo-Geo Pocket). I've yet to even see StickFighter for any of the Symbian phones.

Freeware?

Yup, as far as I can see it's the full version.

Freeware?

Yeps. Maybe full version but absolutely not freeware. Where did you get it?

Sad but true: Some of the little wireless game companies without funding will die soon not only because there aren't enough consumers with java-phones yet but also because the potential consumers are pirating the software...

...my experience so far installing software/games to my 7650, is telling me that its not too easy (or lets say impossible) to pirate the software when using the IMEI code to generate a valid registration key for the software. But, I guess there'll be people again turning to reverse engineering

I found the link to the racing game a month a go, posted to this forum.

Chill!!

That's where I downloaded it from, the link didn't refer me to the webpage, it went straight to the download. How was I supposed to know if it was the full version or not?

Don't try to send me on a guilt trip about pirate software, I couldn't care less. You'd think with the technology today that they could stop it. And it's not just Java software. You can just about get anything copied/downloaded if you look hard enough. CD's/PC Software/Sky digital Cards.

And you're not telling the truth if you say that you have never downloaded a song through a Napster-like program or copied a CD or Software or anything that makes the original company loose money.

I do feel sorry about the Little companys that get ripped off, buy people. But how can you feel sorry for companys like Microsoft that charge £1000's of pounds for a program? With CD/DVD writers becoming so cheap, It's enavitable that this was always going to happen.[/quote]
