I've been trying to write an audio application for the Nokia 3600, playing AMR audio using the MMAPI. Despite calling all the proper functions, and though none of those functions return any exceptions, no audio plays. I've managed to get this exact same code to play audio on the Nokia 3650 however, which leads me to wonder, is there AMR audio support through J2ME on the Nokia 3600? Can anyone confirm or dispute this?

I actually haven't found any further news. I had quite forgotten about this post, having put it up almost a year ago! We eventually abandoned the 3600 since we didn't have time to get it working. Other phones work.
