Audio distortion at end of video/audio files
Hi,
I used to have a 3650 which was nice, but now I have a 6600 and this mobile looks really great. I have only one remark about it. Anyone also noticed the audio distortion (loud click) at the end of video and plain audio files? I didn't hear this on my 3650. It is very noticable in a silent environment, which I find very annoying, especially when a short mediafile is playing in loop. I went back to the store to ask if this is normal and they gave me another 6600, but still I can here the same audio distortion. :-(
Anyone noticed the same problem?
Thanks,
Tom

Audio quality is really poor anyway in this phone. Mp3player 1.31 is so awful.. that backgroud hissing noise is ... good god =/
but at least some simple noise like dog barking in wav format sounds great

Audible Click
Tom,
You are right mate, it seems to depend on the Audio format, all the .wav files I have uploaded to the phone have this click.
The .awb files included with the phone seem to be perfect quality, but I havn't figured out how to convert a .wav file to .awb to see if this makes a difference.
Will be having a play with audacity to see if I can reduce this effect on the .wav files I want to use (let you know if I have any luck)
Over to all you budding audio experts out there.
Andy

i ment the 6600 mobile...it is with the 3650 have the same thing(distortion and somtimes u cant hear the voice in the recorded clips) unless u format the phone (not erasing the list and meg's, but to format the memory and the flash memory ) and update the software...with this action u wont (i think) have any problems...

the engineer, stop directing people to flash new firmware every time you don't know the answer to a question. It won't do any good.

similiar issue here, sould quality from recording isn't good.
wonder if its a hardware thing
playing files downloaded to the phone sound perfect, but not those which were recorded with it.
