If I hadnt bought one a couple of weeks ago.... I'd be going crazy! My tube line is now closed until further notice. I have to get the bus to work and back. My journey time has doubled! to aroundf 1hr 30mins. Guess what I do to pass the time?! Hmmm....let me see:
I could listen to music...
erm... play a game for the ZXSpectrum, C64....
play an official ngage game (when a good one comes out!)
play a java game
play online or chat...
play a series 60 game
Watch a movie....
Listen to the radio....
Surf the internet....read the news....
Send a sms message
oh... and I suppose I could even call someone on it!
Finally, a case of convergence that a company NEARLY got right!
However, I think Nokia should change their adverts to something like:
TIME TO KILL? - TIME TO KILL...
As it stands their marketing just looks like a poor imitation of the rest of em...they should sell it for ALL it's abilities, not just some sort of crypto-arty-gaming advert...
I have a N-Gage and I love it... I didn't know jack about cell phones until I got my hands on this one. Now, well I'm here aren't I? That says something...
I do wish that Nokia had done more to show what the N-Gage has to offer. I mean they barely even mentioned it could play MP3s... Hopefully they get it right eventually.
everybody thinks that bn-gage is nothing more than a game playaable cell phone. but anyone know anyhing about bluetooth, watching movies, playng mp3s, installing new software, radio and mor n-gage can do. i think nokia must make people focus that n-gage is not just a game machine immediately...
