It sounds very possible. Many people have been anticipating as much.
Small but very good spot

Unfortunately not. Communicators are Series 80.
Still Series 90

Thats the point. It was rumoured ages ago that the New Communicator would be Series 90 not 80. So now they mention Series 90 it seems likely to me that was true
Or it could be a typing error :(

Yes, that's why i posted it. It says 'introduction'! Series 80 doesn't need an introduction.
The question is whether it will be a landscape phone like the older communicators or a portrait phone like the Treo.

More similar to Communicators (but not a communicator, they are to come later).
Looking forward to seeing some more details though. I'm sure people will like it.

I bet Rafe has been testing the new communicator for a couple of months now , just like Michal from My-Symbian tested the P900 before it was announced.

I just hope they keep the QWERTY keyboard and maybe add a touch screen.

I didn't say anything!
I dont have any devices to test (shame :().
Its well known that there going to be more than one Seriesa 80 device (probably next year). They were delayed by market conditions.
The stuff coming out in Nice is I think seperate to this. There's a new catgeory - Series 90. I assume (but don't know) that we will see the first S90 device at NMIC.
