A920 2days old and broken already!!

Had my A920 2 days and have been very pleased with
it, it is a superb bit of kit.

Last night the phone kept rebooting itself which i thought was strange, i thought it was down to the the fact the battery was low. The phone eventually turned of. The battery was low so i thought it had just ran out. I charged the battery all night, this morning i come to turn the phone on and nothing will work, it doesnt even turn on!!!!

I`m gutted the phone has been working great but now i cant even turn it on.

I will have to send it back but i am going to lose all info and ringtones that i have stored on the phone (cost a small fortune).

Has anyone come across this before? if so a solution other than sending it back would be appreciated.

please help!!!!

Yep. ive experienced this, and so have other ppl at www.aussie3g.com

Have you installed apps on the phone? It seems that some apps can cause the phone to go in to a infinate loop when booting. Some ppl are trying to c if a Firmware reflash will fix it, others have returned there phones.

ppl are also looking for a key combination for a hardware master clear which should work (if it exists)

Does the Master reset make you lose all your data - such as phone book and appointments and photos and stuff?

This would be really great info. Also, how do you actually invoke the master reset?

Thanks!

Master Reset switches your phone back to its default settings (example, short cut key takes you to the home page)

Master Clear deletes everything you have saved on your phone and switches the phone back to the way it was when you first turned it on

To do a Master Reset go to Launcher
click Control panel then click Master Clear/Master Reset choose the one you want click continue and enter 000000
