Article Differnce between Memory Stick Duos (Normal, Pro, MagicGate ...)

Guys ..

I believe this info should b known and shared with all P800 owners:

I've found trhis on the memory stick website, which will give a great info about all memory stick duos features:

Memory Stick Duo (Normal)
Designed for use in ultra-compact and wearable devices for mobile applications.
For personal content and data only.
By attaching an adapter, it can also be used in products compatible with standard-size Memory Stick media.

Magic Gate Memory Stick Duo (White Colored)
Designed for use in ultra-compact and wearable devices for mobile applications.
For both copyright-protected content and personal content and data.
By attaching an adapter, it can also be used in products compatible with standard-size Memory Stick media.

Magic Gate (High Speed Transfer Comatible) Memory Stick Duo (Dark Blue Colored)
Allows recording of copyright-protected content and high-speed data transfer, while maintaining a high level of compatibility with a wide range of products including compact mobile devices. By attaching an adapter, it can also be used in products compatible with standard-size Memory Stick media.

Memory Stick PRO Duo (While Colored, with Brown writing)
A compact media designed for mobile applications in the broadband era. Provides the great features and expandability of the Memory Stick PRO format, including the ability to record high-resolution moving images in real time. By attaching an adapter, it can also be used in products compatible with standard-size Memory Stick media.

I still find no explaing on big differences between all these kinds , anyone has more to add!?!?

info is from this site: http://www.memorystick.com/en/ms/variety.html#msduo

btw, I just bought 128 Magic Gate Duo (Dark Blue), which is the latest one

Thanks for the info!

But I would be way more interested in the fact, if the Pro version works with the P800 and P900
