Cable and cradle

Sorry about this numpty question.....

I have an A920 and am generally pleased with it. However, to remove the charger lead or the USB cable, you press the button on the cable end. But if you place the phone in the cradle, there is no way (that I can see) of disengaging the connector to the phone other than pulling the phone off the cradle.

Considering that the 3 'holding pins' have hooked ends, surely this is eventually going to trash the cradle connector, or worse the connector in the phone.

I would be grateful for any help.

You could be right about the craddle. Mine appears to have stopped charging the phone when it is sitting in the craddle. I can still transfer files and the blue light comes on at the front of the craddle but its not charging.
