Can we use or import microsoft office files?
Dear all A920 gurus,
I would like to know whether A920 support the viewing or opening of word documents, excel spreadsheets and powerpoint presentation files. If yes is it the same or similar to palm where it uses documents to go program to open and view them?
Thats all for that.
Many Thanks
Gavin

You can convert your Office documents and read them with Mobipocket Reader via Mobipocket Office Companion (http://www.mobipocket.com/en/DownloadSoft/ProductDetailsOfficeComp.asp#features)

It's a good question well made! :p
How about ... You will need the test certificates included in the UIQ SDK or downloaded separately from the download area on the 3 development site.
Put these certificates in the same directory as the files you are putting into the PKG file.
Then you will need the following lines in the PKG file.
(0x101F617B), 2, 0, 0, {"UIQ20ProductID"}
*"TOCSP-Root5-RSA.key","TOCSP-Root5-RSA.cer"
Finally you need to run "makesis" against the .pkg file to create your sis file.
Give it a go, see if it works...

Hey James,
Could you pass the link to the 3 development area or the direct link to download those software that are needed to do so.
Many Thanks,
Gavin
