Phone time wrong

Hi,

No matter how often I adjust, my phone's time is always ahead of the correct time by 10-15 minutes. And no, "auto update" from GSM network is OFF. Anybody had the same happen? My software version is "V 3.16 15-08-02" could it be that it's because of the old version? I hate to adjust the time each day because 10-15 minutes of difference is not small enough to ignore.

Check your system time on your computer when you sync with your phone using PC Suite. Your phone is probably taking the PC System time.

You mean the phone automatically syncs the time with PC each time I use PC Suite? Well if that's true that could be the reason because I use PC Suite almost everyday. I'll check it at home. Thanks for the idea.

But by the way I never sync my contacts & other with MS Outlook using PC Suite. I use PC Suite mainly to install .sis files directly to my phone and nothing else. And sometimes I do backups and etc but seldoms. Do you think PC Suite will adjust my phone's time even though I am not synchronizing my contacts?

a good freeware utility to maintain the correct PC clock time is atomic clock sync.

sorry cannot remember the website, but you'll find it via google.

The phone updates the clock to the computer's every time you make a connection via bluetooth or IrDa to a computer.
