Cleaning up the internal memory
I have bought a 128 MB memory stick and I am trying to place all application on the external memory stick, but I am still experiencing that the internal memory are being used and I am now down to approx. 4,5 MB on the internal memory.
How do I do a “spring cleaning” of my internal memory to avoid having my phone stall or crash on me? Some people has been suggesting a full format of the internal memory but that sounds to scary for my taste. I don’t know if I will get the phone to work again and there is no service centre in this country as far as I know (Bosnia and Herzegovina) so that would be a disaster. Others have mentioned a master reset and I am also a bit sceptic to this alternative since I expect that a lot of the data in the phone will be lost, addressbook, calendar, e-mail- and internet accounts as so fort.
Has anyone tried to clean up their memory successfully and could pass on the best instruction for going about doing this? I would be much obliged.

Download an utility called 'File Manager', that should sort it out.
*Not sure where to find it, but it's out there....

Even with File Manager, u wont be sure which files are essential and which are garbage left behind. I hesitated to do a format before. I tried master reset, but I found that all files were untouch. Then i tried format the c:, now i love it.
Just make sure u have the software u wanna install back ready, including serial no, key, etc. Hope u got outlook to sync your contacts, calander etc, restore those back are then just in a minute.
And always, MAKE BACKUP FIRST!! though I never use it so far.
