playing midi file

Hi
can anyone help me out with midi fiels....
is it possible to play midi files in series 60 phones using MIDP1.0??? please let me know if it is possible. it would be grateful if you can provide me with sample code.

couldn't you just put a midi file to your phone, then when you press play, it'll load up the recorder app to play it, some of the built in ringtones for the 7650 are midi's

The question, nk8, was more of a programming question: How to do it in Java (MIDP 1.0).

I don't know if it can be done, but the answer's probably in the Nokia Java/MIDP SDK for Series 60.

If not, it is probably said somewhere on http://forum.nokia.com
