Ring Tones

On all my previous phones I've been able to assign a single (or repeating) tone as the ring tone. I have a severe hatred of ring tones!!

I cannot find a way of doing this on my brand spanking new P800 though. Is there a built in way, or do I need to create one/record one?

There are a few tones available on the multi-media CD that accompanied your phone. Put these tones into the media file - (audio) on your phone's memory or memory stick. Then go into 'control panel', 'general', 'phone preferences' and 'sound and alerts'. Then click on the drop down menu on 'Ring (voice)' and search for the tone. Choose it and then test it.
