outlook calendar out of sync (p800)
Hello everybody,
The problem I've been experiencing since getting the P800 are the calendar entries I make to/from the unit are not being sync'ed properly in Outlook. Basically if I make an entry in the phone, the Outlook calendar puts the wrong time (approx -9 hours).
I did a search for others who might have had this problem and I've already done the following;
- Upgraded phone firmware to R2F
- Installed all Service packs and updates to my Outlook program.
- Did the "Detect and Repair" trick on outlook several times.
- Made sure my time zone on both the PC (running WinXP) are the same in the phone.
My co-worker and I have the same phone/pc setups and on his end it's "iffy" at best. Any suggestions would be most appreciated.

Please try to change your sync station settings. I have chosen the Conflict Resolution as "Select Last Item". Probably you may need to upgrade your PC suite. Which version do you use?

One word: timezones.
You have probably set your PC to your local time, rather than setting it to GMT (UTC) then setting your correct timezone.
BTW., because I use outlook as a backup rather than input device, I set it to 'phone overwrites computer', because on 'last changed' it kept deleting entries from the phone that were not (and had never been) in Outlook.

Hi,
I seem to be experiencing the same problem. When I enter appointments in the phone, it is uploaded onto outlook although with a wrong time. I have checked the timezones on both the PC and the phone... they're both set to the same zone and country.. however this doesn't seem to solve the problem.
Any suggestions will be most welcome, thanks!
(As the other threads say... great phone, BAD software!)
