this may sound a little weird, I have heard of a bluetooth chat program but is there a program that allows u to talk to each other?

Over Bluetooth? With the Bluetooth radio range of max 10 meters, you should hear the other party just fine without a phone. 😉

I know the name of the program.. But not very sure of where to get it..

The software's name is DreamChat
u mean dreamchat allows us to talk (as in voice) to each other via BT?
Not voice.. but text.. :P 😮ops:

Tnx

Ciao!

jeeezzzz..... CAN'T THESE PEOPLE SEARCH?!?!?!?!??!?!?!
look for something called pallet extender...

My inbox is filled with sh** like this... I'm getting my avatar changed...

ok... I forgot u was a *guru* quite before u had this phone..
i'll remember 😊

Ciao!

man... I don't always have an answer to everything, but there are litterally douzens of threads mentioning palette extender or EProfiles... All you had to do was look for them...
if everyone goes for the easiest way to get info we'll have a bunch of repeated threads every day... This might as well be a chat program rather than a forum.... all the info is here, already... just put a little effort in looking for it.

ok..
i know it's a forum and someone first tries to search, and only then asks..
but i had no idea of what I had to search.. for me is quite difficult to explain in a foreign language, especially "technical" words..
so.. asking was easier for me... and you weren't obliged to reply me, but u did.. anyway, thank you..

Ciao!

Last night I remembered an ocasion when bluetooth chat (voice) would come in handy.... on the middle of the freeway, to talk to someone in a different car... that would be cool...

Would be easier and safer to use the normal calling feature (with handsfree), rather than at high speed trying to keep the phones withing 10 meter of each other.

i think the bt chat would be very nice.

imagine you are at a pub, and you do a search for bt devices... among them there's a "sexy kitten" wouldn't you want to send her a bt message?

I think that this functions is very appealing, don't you?

Sure.. text wise.. but voice? erhmm naaah *G*

And then the Sexy Kitten turns out to be a 250lb. Hairy Gorilla. OOOOOPS. There used to be a saying about AOL, went something like "American Online; where men are men and most women are also"

FWIW, the Siemens SX1 will come with a BT 2-player game that also has a BT Chat integrated.

Oz

I don't know about your country, but in mine, cars come with more than one seat... I can be talking to other people while a friend is driving the car. besides, I'd rather talk for free.
