Depends on what you mean with "run on PC".

If you want to install it to your phone from a PC, then what jimmy-floyd said is right.

If you want to actually run it, then note that a .SIS file packages, among other things, executables for the Symbian OS & whatever hardware platform that was targeted (typically ARM).

So, you won't be able to run them unless you find an emulator that emulates the ARM processor & respective phone/Symbian environment.

To my knowledge there is no such thing. There are phone emulators/simulators in the development toolkits, but even for those, the compiler generates Windows executables for the emulator, so you'd have to have the original source code and rebuild the SIS for the emulator, rather than use a SIS file built for your phone (as it won't run under such devkit emulators).

In other words: no can do.

I think that there is a program called *SYMBIAN SDK EMULATOR* which allows you to test the programs (sis files!)

No it doesn't.On the emulator you can start app files, not sis,and the app files like N/A said have to be compiled for the needed target(Windows). So you can't just send Fxeplorer's app file or the whole package to your PC fire up the emulator and use it instead of windows exlporer

Copy the file to C:/Nokia/Installs folder on your phone and then use the Dispatcher... or whatever that app manager is called. (sorry have russian menus and don't feel like switching now)

You can just send it to your phone via BlueTooth or InfraRed,then you should get the prompt about new message, open your messages folder,in installation does not start automatically, click on the new message which has the sis file attached and after that it should be self explanatory.
