Hi, when I select to delete the log of calls, sms and all that stuff from a specified date, it never does it. I've been having my 9210 since August and all the entries are still there!
Any suggestion?
Regards.

Have you tried to delete the log file, if no, then follow the following steps
1) Select Menu
2) Tools
3) Log
(or Shift + Ctrl + L)
4) Press Ctrl + D (Clear log)
5) Specify the Last date you want to delete, to delete everything input tomorrow's date.
6) Press clear in the side bar
7) Press OK again from the side bar, or press enter.
The above steps should delete the log.
Let me know if I can assist.
Regards,

Yes, I already did all that, however it doesn't delete the log. Any other idea?
Thanks anyway.

Strange, I tried it, and got the same problem, (did not clear). Tried a few more times, and suddenly it worked.
Failing that, you could try changing the number of days recoded to 0, this should get rid of most of the entries.

Yes, it is quite strange, however in my case no matter how many times I try to delete it, it never does.
Last time I set the number of days to one, I'll change it to zero to see if it stops recording...
Does anyone know where could that file be located and its extension so that I could delete it by myself?
Regards.

c\system\data\logdbu.dat
But sometimes it's not easy to delete it.
If you have log duration 30days, the size of log grows and sooner or later commi starts to lose signal and behave weird. Also it slooows down and you notice it when you delete all entries from log..
but that's not allways, it might work great with somebody.
I have use log duration 2 days and works fine.

I like to say that Nokia has serial problems with logdbu.dat and it wasn't so easy to connect mobile phone and symbian...
