Have you seen it yet? Talking about Matrix Reloaded
Well have you? What did you think? I know that Edgedale has probably seen it half a dozen times by now but what about the rest of you. Did you like the Neo-the-Superman -thing?
I saw it and I must say I was a bit disappointed. The mystical feeling I had after the original Matrix (you know, the-spoon-is-not-a-spoon -feel) just was not there this time. And the way it ended was a typical mid-trilogy ending - not an ending at all. But the visual effects were beautiful, the fighting sequences awesome, and sure, Keanu is not bad to look at Don't know what you guys think of Trinity?

Saw it, loved it.
i didnt feel mystical from the first, i just felt what a great butt-kicking, mind blowing FX, sci-fi comic book extraviganza.....more please!! and so i got from this sequel....cant wait for Revolutions.
i love the things that Neo can do and as we discovered, more that he expected himself...(spoiler alert!!)... sentinel shock....
abit too technical with (spoiler alert!!) the architect, thus bent some braincells abit, but and excellent movie worthy of my £4.
...to be concluded

Saw the movie! I find it nice... but you have to listen to every detail! The movie is very intellectual...
I just don't like the scene where neo and trinity made love and Zion was partying... it was soooo long and irrelevant!!!
The fighting scenes were awesome!!! Anyway, all in all, I rate the movie 4.5 out of 5!

I found it to be very choppy at the start and the plot didn't flow too well until later on. Also some of the fight scenes just seemed too excessive and boring, yeah fights are good, but to stop every 5 minutes for a 10 minute fight scene really badly breaks up the plot. Although it's shaped up for the 3rd part to be quite good.

I loved it. Sure, it didn't have the groundbreaking feel of the last movie because hey, the ground has been broken.
Spoiler alert:
Plenty of room for discussion. What did Agent Smith mean when he said that it was happening just like before, but not quite? Is he really a lose cannon now? if he really is outside the Matrix, does that make him a threat to the Matrix? I really think he's the best character there - that actor just manages to make Smith ooze with evil!
What of Neo being the sixth 'The One'? So, he is Number Six? 'The Prisoner' anyone? And what did Number Six do to the village when he escaped that once and for all?
It is really useful for provoking discussion; How much of what we see is what we expect to see and not what we would see if we looked properly? if we are fed an illusion, who is feeding it? I spoke to one person who glibly said that the media is our new reality. Interesting. I can see her point, but I don't agree.
Hey, I found this so intriguing, I'm now reading the Meditations of Rene Descartes! Excellent stuff, and special effects to pay £4.50 for!
But am I thw only one to notice that Keanu Reeves didn't have many lines, and when he did, they weren't more than a few words?
I did think that some of the CGI was poor, especially on the rendering of Neo himself (namely in the big fight after consulting the Oracle and when he rescued the Key Maker and Morpheus from the crash). Also, it (the story) was a little slow toward the start.
On the whole I say GO SEE IT!
Can't wait for revolutions!
Man, I love the spooky horns from the theme music! Outstanding stuff! It has a whole feeling of its own!

I'm with switchblade on this...
Smith? Is he on his own crusade or what (the irony of everyone being called smith is quite amusing hehe)?
Neo is now in a coma - could it be the machine's way of dealing with people who realise there is a matrix within a matrix - ie they have no predeterimined program to cope with it, or is it an information overload on Neo's brain which has cause it?
If there is a matrix within a matrix, the current 'reality' seems a little to different to not be reality... but then again maybe not....
Maybe they're still in the same matrix, but the machines have just changed all the rules.... so it seems like they've left but they haven't...
Maybe I'm missing something... interested in other people's speculation
OOOOH and I nearly forgot... MORE of Persephone please!!!! YUM YUM!

8) Yes i had watched it many many times.. and also animatrix... It was indeed a very intellectual movie that you really have to stress your mind and ears to listen to the conversations. 8)
Agent Smith is my fav... cool, deadly and fast.. Neo.... ohhh he is too freaking powerful that in the game, we can not played as him. Trinity... very clever for a lady, fast and of coz... HOT and sexy... I will want to see more about GHOST's fighting scenes...
Oh coz.... of those who watch the "Reloaded", remember there's a kid who very crazy over Neo and Trinity and always want to be with them (in Zion when the team return back from their operation), remember Neo told that kid that he did not save him, he save himself. Well i know why and how.... If you watch Animatrix title , "The Kid".
He is the only one who unplugged himself without anyone's help... amazing!!

well, you can really play NEO. You have to type something in the code for NEO to be played. and this is true.
