How to watch Fullscreen movies in 9210 ?
Hi, I just want to know if there is a possibility to watch fullscreen movies with Communicator.
I tried to do that with Realplayer and VIDEOUI and have no success.
It's really boring to have that big color display in the communicator and we have to watch the movies in a tiny little window.

Do you think this will be possible in the future?
I mean, the device can handle to play a fullscreen movie in.... let's say 24FPS / 30 FPS ?

Daz, I remember you saying once about a software like this under development, 4 months ago. Is the project dead?

Well,
There is two things to consider on this issue...
1. Do you think some Developer Company will do it? I mean, what company is capable of doing that? Real ? NOKIA ? Today they are the only companies who did Video Player for the Communicator.... (isn't it? )
2. The Nokia 9210i Processor can handle a full screen movie player ? at how much Frames per Second? I made some tests with RM and NIM files and even playing in the "little box" they are on the edge to make 30 FPS with good quality sound.
Let's try to know more about that...

you indeed need a convertor. MultiMediaConvertor from Nokia it creates nims which play with the videoplayer app.
It also converts everything to very small wav files to save space on your comm.
Yes SpecialBoy the same... I think it's dead, no idea.
Cris, 30fps ??? Nim can't even dream of that If you do have a file that plays that fast drop me a mail will you [mail]
Just tried to find the companies URL, nothing left of it ...
