Where can I get a normal SMS ring tone???
Following on the someone wanting a normal 'ring ring' tone - does anyone have a normal SMS message receipt tone? Or more specifically, one like on the Nokia 6110, 8210 etc...
We have a standard 'message tone' on the P800, but that sounds more like the answer phone message sound on the Nokias. I would like the equivalent of the default SMS receipt.
The message tone is a bit too quiet on the P800 and I don't always know I received a message... This is especially made worse by the fact you can't tell you have a message without unlocking the phone, since the screen powers off :(

Well, here's a version of the standard Nokia message tone.
It's a WAV file, so it should be loud enough..

the fact that the default sms tone on th P800 is too quiet, i'm using using a wav file! it is from southpark while stan is saying; "Oh my god!" and "you bastard!!" and in between this two lines comes the line "You got mail"!
it sounds like this; "oh my God"you got mail"you bastard !! "

My green power light flashes at a different rate when I have unread SMS messages.
Or is that just my imagination? :-?

When I get a new SMS, the phone automatically unlocks so all I have to do is press read to, er, read it. I would prefer it if I could unlock the phone first as I have a couple of times "read" mail in my pocket without realising

Im using the exact same tone Loud..yet smooth.. I love the way it fades..
