All About Symbian forum browsing tool - PC or P800?

This is a poll to determine where most of the hits to this site are coming from...

Wether you browse from home, work, or with your P800 click the poll options and leave a comment. Don't forget, if you browse with your P800 state what browser you are using (Built in Browser, Webviewer, or Opera). Also, if you browse remotely share experiences of some of the places you've browsed from (classroom, work meeting, while pretending to listen to your wife, stalled in traffic, etc..) 8)

Done, right...I view the site quite often using the WAP site (wap.allaboutsymbian.com) or just reading the main points ( www.allaboutsymbian.com/mobile )

But I use the PC whenever I can.

GhostDog will become famous soon enough
I use mostly my PC and its dialup because wap is endangered specie here, meaning, its darn expensive,i'm not even starting to dream about GPRS.Some times when the two PC's are taken, which is extremly rare,or never,i browse AAS from my phone sharing my PC internet connection trought bluetooth.

Wap and GPRS data service is dirt cheap in the states... Sometimes I'm on there for an infinite time it seems... I like the format of the wap site.. I browse using Opera on the phone however, formatting gets a bit out of whack. Nonetheless, I spend an equal time on the PC as I do on the phone. The reason why I even started this pole is because I don't think many people are using the wap site at all. Moreover, being that the HTML format appears whacky on the phone I see how it would deter most from not visiting from there.

Make a better html phone version is on the cards. If you use the built in browser for the froums via WAP you'll be fine. I'll be sorting it out for Opera (wap forums) soonish.

Just FYI a lot of people browse via wap but do not post. I'd estimate about 10% of forum traffic is on wap. The wap site gets about 750-1000 is visitors a day. Slightly less than 10% of the total traffic. More page views per user on the wap site too.

I'm practically always sitting in front of a PC with ADSL so obviously PC is my best choise. But e.g. while on vacation I browsed sometimes through web and sometimes I use wap (wap did't work abroad) on my 9210. Now I'm just scared to see what my next phone bill will be

BTW please add communicators to the list.

I'm prolly 80% PC (have Broadband access at home) and 20% WAP. Much as it's been marketed incorrectly to death, WAP is atually pretty useful when yuo're out and about. I use it for the Forum here, My-Sy News, and the BBC News and Sport pages. Costs me £4 a month unlimited GPRS on Orange (UK).
