take care of your keypad flip

hiya all,

just wanna share my experience...i went to my local SE..and complained of my keypad, as whenever i press anyting on it...something else will come out..i hope you all got what i meant...then they found out that the tip on the edge of the keypad flip that supposed to hold the keypad from pressing on to the touch screen is broken,(one of it) and this causes the keypad not able to synchorise to the touch screen...well it cost me $60.00
Brunei dollar to get it it replaced...so better take care of your keypad flip...ciao...

I've removed the flip keypad and use the virtual keypad instead. It looks cool.

Yes, I once manually recalibrated the screen using the provided option with the result that pressing certain keys on the flip (e.g. the "C button") led to no button presses on the underlying virtual flip anymore.

I solved this by opening said option dialog again and restoring the factory settings.

Everything worked smoothly again after that.

Yeah, you're actually quite "lucky", Scrutineer. Most people are told that there are now spare parts, and if you want one, you have to buy it second hand :-?
