Handango join Symbian Platinum Partner Program
Handango have joined the Symbian Platinum Partner Program. This puts their relationship on a more formla footing and hopefully we will see Handnago fully support Symbian. Handnago recently released statistics showing that Symbian smartphone owners spend more on software than any others.

mobile software, today announced that it has joined the Symbian Platinum Partner
Program to support the emerging market for Symbian OS(TM) advanced mobile
phones. As a Platinum Partner, Handango will continue to support Symbian's
ecosystem of developers, partners and licensees with its market-leading

of the application download sites built on Handango AMPP. In addition, based on
Handango software sales over the past year, Symbian OS device users are avid
software users, buying an average of 19.9% more software (in USD) per purchase
than users of other mobile devices.
Since adding Symbian downloads to its application platform in April 2000,
Handango has secured partnerships with Symbian OS licensees Nokia and Sony
