can u zoom in BEFORE taking a pic???
anyone know if you can zoom in to a target before actually akin the pic, i know how to do it afterwards but not before!
or do i have to install another application or summit??

Yes, Photographer 2.0 supports zooming before taking the pic.

You cannot zoom using the built in camera software but third party apps such as Camera FX 1.3.1 and Photographer 2.0 support this feature.
Camera FX has the best functions but Photographer produces better quality pictures.

i use camerafx and the photos r dodgy.. but i guess its workable since its 10X zoom.
see www.wildpalm.co.uk for it.

Camerafx is mostly the fancy looking program. Adding effects mostly. You can find a trial at www.Wildpalm.Co.Uk . But the quality of the pictures taken with it even with no zoom are worst even than the ones taken with the standard camera app that comes with the phone. Photographer is for quality. Even with the zoom at 8x (max:16x) the picture taken is bilinear/bicubic filtered so the quality is almost the best you can achieve. Unfortunately there is no trial on photographer, but it has won the competition of the best image series 60 program by nokia. Highly recommended...

You should do some reading in the help file also u can try out the keys and see what works, try up and down.
