Not really practical, sorry :(
For starters, there isn't any available room in the battery casing for any additional circuitry. You would have to radically redesign the battery to have a higher capaity (to allow for the new additions) in a much smaller space. solve that problem & you will make a fortune with battery sales alone !

As well as the problem of battery size etc, there's the added problem with the fact that there is no interface in that area to which new hardware could be attached. The only option is to connect it onto the serial interface.

You might want to check around the Internet to
see if it's available. Someone would have to write
the driver for it as well.
