N95: How much Ram?

From the first N95 reviews I learned that it has only 64MB RAM. The AAS report of the US N95 states 80MB.Now all N95's I got offered, as well as the data sheet on nokia.com shows 160MB RAM.
Could anyone please clarify this?

TIA

Thanks for the link. Unfortunately, Wikipedia does not match the information on Nokia.com, see http://www.nokia.co.uk/A4344017

They state, the N95 does have 160MB memory and a 950 mAh battery, which is not listed at Wikipedia.

But does this mean, an N95 with 160 MB memory always has 128 MB RAM?

Isn't that 160MB of internal storage memory, not RAM? It talks about storing messages, images, etc. in it.

http://www.forum.nokia.com/devices/N95

"Max User Storage: 160 MB
NAND Memory: 256 MB
SDRAM Memory: 64 MB
~18 MB Free Executable RAM Memory"

Above, SDRAM refers to the available run-time memory for all applications, and the ~18MB means how much of that is left after starting/booting up the phone.

Do note, that the latest firmware gives a few MB more of free RAM due to the ROM Demand Paging feature where everything from ROM is not loaded to RAM, except when needed.

The "Max user storage" refers to the internal phone memory space for storage = the C-drive.

The North American model data:

http://www.forum.nokia.com/devices/N95-3_NAM

"Max User Storage: 157 MB
NAND Memory: 256 MB
SDRAM Memory: 128 MB
~81 MB Free Executable RAM Memory"

Note how the SDRAM has doubled from 64MB to 128MB.

And N95 8GB:

http://www.forum.nokia.com/devices/N95_8GB

"Max User Storage: 8 GB
NAND Memory: 256 MB
SDRAM Memory: 128 MB
~90 MB Free Executable RAM Memory"

In this case the "Max user storage" of 8GB refers to the separate internal mass memory = the E-drive.
