Alarm Clock and QuickOffice

Ok – two things.

Alarm Clock. Not really a complain, but something that wasn’t right – wondered if anyone had an answer?

Set the alarm for 6am. Went off at 6.0am. Great. Lay in bed ( as one does ) for a few more mins. Here’s where it confused me.

The time then was 6.21, but the Snooze was saying it was 6.16. Waited for the next Snooze to go off, and it was also five mins behind the actual time? Odd? You’ll be pleased to know I made it out of bed at 6.25 ( or 6.20 according to the Snooze ).

Last night was messing around with the QuickOffice. Was initially annoyed I had to pay for a licence, as on other phones it was free ( N95 ) . Then tried to download catalogue, but that comes up blank. Not that I’d use it much anyway, but how much is the cost for Office?

Quickoffice on the N95 was never free?

the Viewer was free, but to edit files, you had to pay for the upgrade.

My alarm is also behaving strangely. Set my alarm for 06.15am ....went off at 6.17am. Tried again...set it fro 07.25....went off at 07.27. Being a patient type of fella i set it once again for 08.10.......and you guessed it, it went off at 08.12 . Anyone got any advice ?. Mind you at least i know im gonna be 2 minutes late

Ah, must 've been confusing myself - knew I could 'view' office files on the N95 :-)

Anyone know how much QUickOffice is?

Don't think the full version is available for the N97 yet...

Version 4.5 was $55 when I first bought it back in August 2007. I upgraded it this Feb to version 6 and it was £27. I'm hoping I can transfer the licence to the N97 as I don't want to pay again.

Ok thanks. tested the Office Viewer, had an old Excel workseeht on the memory card I transferred from my N95 so the viewer works ok.

THe Alarm Clock still works oddly though, it seems the Alarm runs few min slower than the actual clock? How odd.....

Alarm was set ofr 6.00am and it went off at 6.02. Why does it do that?

I tested my alarm clock last night, and used it this morning, and it's working fine for me.
