changing keypad

I have a e71 middle east version. Recently i changed the keypad to an asian version. Now some of the keys do not match the kepad symbols. Can I modify the softwre to an asian version to correct the problem?

Yes, there is. But maybe you have to change the product code, and then the warranty is void. I am not responsible when you brick your phone. The procedure itself is quite easy; I did it myself and you find lots of "howto's" on the web.

Just google for "change Nokia product code" and "E71 asian product code". Look http://www.allaboutsymbian.com/forum...ad.php?t=73977 here as well.

You should check in advance weather the actual firmware is available for that code on the Nokia Software website.
