Exclamation Gmail via Opera Mini v4.1

Hiya All,

I have an N95 8GB and although I have the gmail app installed, it doesn't provide me with the functionality to attach files to e-mails via my phone (from the gallery etc...) so i've connecting to my gmail via the opera mini browser...

When I try and insert an attachment, I get the message; "we recommend that you change the permission settings when browsing the file system"

If I click on help at that point, it tells me that I have to locate the folder where Opera Mini 4.1 is installed. I have installed it to the phone memory, and using "y-browser" I have tried to locate the file/folder that it is talking about so that I can change the "app access" and "data access" to edit the "read user data", and "add and edit data"

Can anybody give me some advice as to where to find this ?

Thanks in advance,

Scott

the best way to use gmail on the n95 is use the messaging application and configure your gmail account for IMAP. this igves you instant emails in real time, and you can attach any file from the phone to an email. just follow these directions:

i like any method that uses native symbian apps over java apps like opera mini or gmail app.
