Writing to Frames

I have a browser application that writes to a frame (alt. iframe) that works in MSIE, Opera, and Firefox. There is no problem opening the initial frame in my Nokia E70 browser. But the application requires writing new things to the frame (alt. iframe) and that's where the trouble starts.

All that happens in my E70 browser is that the text from the original file disappears. Any tips, tricks, and successful experiences using frames (alt. iframes) would be appreciated.
