What are you using to hold your n95 in place when driving ?

I bought a holder off ebay but its a peice of crap. looks so tacky.

Any other substitutes out there ?

It's pretty good and can also hold my ipod if i want (obviously not at the same time as my phone though!)

Goose neck window sucker off ebay for about £10. Has held my 6680, N73 and now N95 safely over tens of thousands of miles.

You don't drill the Brodit ones, and if you do you're doing it wrong! You need to buy two parts to a brodit cradle, the part which holds the phone/ipod/satnav/whatever, and a part called the brodit clip which is specific to your car. The clip will fit into gaps on your cars facia usually by forcing it into areas where two parts of plastic meet. This means the clip is held in place very securely and can be removed when you sell the car without any sign that it was ever there. The mount attaches to the clip by screwing it on using the supplied screws. No drilling required. Brodit mounts are more expensive than getting a cheap cradle from ebay, however you really do get what you pay for. They look very professional and hold your phone solidly. There are normally three or four different clips to choose from for each model of car, giving you several different options of where to mount your phone. Check out www.dsldevelopments.com who are a good uk supplier. I really can't recommend brodit products enough (and no I don't work for them).

Another vote for Brodit. Bought, clipped on, N95 held firmly and used for sat nav, as well as charged. Good piece of kit. Note, the mounts are car specific, as is the attachment for the N95. Made to measure! Can't go wrong.

I also bought the Brodit kit. Excellent. However, I find that the charge connection is a bit iffy and does not always connect properly. Seems the plug is slightly too small and not a good solid fit like the home charger is.

Anyone else noticed this?

I have the Brodit kit also, think it's fantastic, like the way it swivels so you can have the phone in landscape mode.. Had no problems with the charger connection and it holds the phone solid

Just received this windscreen mount today.

It has a great sucker that doesnt budge from the windscreen.
It can be used as a hands-free kit also with a great built in speaker.
The microphone supplied isnt the best but does works fine.

It also charger the phone although the connection can be a bit loose.
It also allows you to have the slider open which is great if you want to use the built in GPS too.

Delivery to Ireland took 4 working days.
Very cheap and well worth a go before paying for the more expensive kits
as sugested here.

I've just ordered some Brodits from DSL Developments for our fleet of vehicles and N95's and i'm VERY happy with them - good feedback from the users too!
