With regards to N-Gage cracking and phone unlocking that's because its against this forums policy. Illegal software is bad for the community (it stifles the development process) and we also need to be convered legally.

Its only after much consideration that we agreed that discussion of emulation is OK. Although you shouldn't point out where to fund roms (i.e. no linking to roms) general discussion is OK.

I know you could have the originals, but copying them and even making the emulator is technically copyright violation.
This is slightly different from N-Gage cracking. The megadrive is now how many years old? even if these games were still purchasable then Sega would make no money from them cos most likely they come from ebay.

Emulation of consoles such as the Megadrive/Snes/Nes/Master System really should be classed as abandonware. this is why you don't see Sega running round closing the emulation sites with these ROMS on.

Seeing as the N-Gage is still having products available and the games are still purchasable it is different

I don't believe that making emulators is copyright violation. At least, not according to anything I've ever read.

And I'm not just talking about videogame console emulation.

I just attached the latest version (269) of PicoDrive S60 in the first post of this thread. There are quite few updates.

* Right colours in 16bit mode.
* Flipped mode.. (press '9' to activate back and forth).
* Reconfigure keys.. (press '8' to configure'.. follow on screen instructions)
* Added DSA support (pressing application button might krash the whole thing). But should speed things up.
* Might have activated multiple button support. So that should make it playable. (i.e jump and run at the same time).

Abso-frekin-lootly awesome, thanks AG ...best 60 series app.

Works like a dream on N-Gage, slightly strange problems with 'start' button ,couldn't start games for 10 mins ,now it's recovered?

Jump-forward , multi-button works fine.
Mapping-flip perfect as well.

I cannot believe the N-Gage can push these games so well through an emulator.
