replacement speaker for n95?

anyone know where i can buy a replacement speaker for my n95? the one used in normal calls that is... its got a terrible habit of crackling.

i know this is a common fault but i dont want to put the phone in for repair for the new speaker supplied from nokia to do the exact same thing! im considering an aftermarket speaker, perhaps from a different phone (7210 or similar) as these never had any bother with crackling speakers!

oh and for reference, when ive popped the cover off the phone the speaker has been covered in dust of what appears to be small metal dust bits, may be a buildup of these is the problem?

Apparently the replacements speakers are of a different design. I had mine done in a service centre last week and it took the guy about 5 minutes to swap them.

is that true? that is good news.

do the service centers keep the speakers in stock or would i have to 'order' one in? i wouldnt mind doin the job myself, just need the speaker, theres absolutely nothing to replacing them

it could be dust in it!
I took out my speaker and slide it over a magnet and after that i worked fine again!

Exclamation Quick Fix for buzzy/distorted speaker

STOP!! Don't order a replacement speaker or take your N-95 apart until you have tried this quick fix! I found it here:

http://www.nokiausers.net/forum/its-...ere-fix-4.html

Ignore the initial instructions about dissassembling the phone that are at the top of this string and scroll down to the red text further down.

The solution is to place your lips tightly around the tiny speaker and suck hard for ten seconds (or as long as you want if you're into that kind of thing...). For the majority of people it seems to solve this problem immediately. Worked for mine and sure beats taking the phone apart! Give it a try.
