install pc suite and connect your phone via usb and back up your phone that way. probably the easiest way i would imagine.

i take it you are clicking the ok button on the phone after connecting as it brings up a menu asking if you are using pc suite, media player, data storage etc. pc suite is usually top of the list and default selected. So after connecting the usb, press the button on the phone as if selecting pc suite.

...i swear i saved my contacts to sim but they dont seem working on the back-up phone o2 gave me and i really need some of them.

well go to the memory card bit (through the PC suite) choose the 'others' folders in there will be a contacts folder and in that will be all the contacts from the last back up (if you ever did a back up) if not i dont no what to sugest as nearly everyones nokia Nseries phone will be set up diferently (menus and all) so did you hot key the contacts at all? say on the left key or at the top on the standby screen? a lil more info and maybe i could help
